My name is Stuart Clarke and as part of my job, i travel to Jersey on regular occasions to represent my company and do my job as a financial advisor. I find myself in the small sunny island more than 4 times a month which means i have stayed and dined at many different places. This is why i thought i would share my experiences with other regular Jersey business travellers or even people who are just interested in what Jersey has to offer. So when you have time to release yourself from your very busy schedules, you can enjoy a lavish meal and stay in some of the most wonderful hotels Jersey has to offer which will make your time on the beautiful island that little bit more special.

The Grandest of all?

3rd January 2011

It was a fresh year and also a lot of fresh new business on the market so I was flown over for a weekend to Jersey in order to investigate some new competitors. I was set up for a 2 night stay in the Grande Hotel. Last time I stayed at the luxurious Longueville which was amazing, but I wanted to try something new and I had already heard great reviews about the Grande, so i wanted to experience the place for myself. The swanky hotel was situated along the jersey esplanade which was only 10 minutes from St Helier’s town centre. This meant it was also practical for me to reach meetings easily and allowed me to do some shopping when I had any spare time.
I had heard great reviews about the spa and decided to try it out for a relaxing evening. With a glass of champagne and a tranquille atmosphere, I couldn’t of thought of anything better. The Spa had it all, two-floors of luxurious state of the art treatment rooms. They even had a steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, and a heated indoor pool to drift away and forget about any stress or worries. After being pampered, i headed to my suite which carried on the same relaxed feeling. Shades of dreamy blues, browns and a large king sized bed to sink into. Pure bliss!
My Verdict
